General Terms and Conditions

Payment:
Full payment within a week after your order has been place - with either a check, or credit card via PayPal or a normal PayPal Account - is necessary to secure your order. Please be respectful and prompt with your payment.  When paying by CHECK, please include your order number on your check.
No order is final or guaranteed until full payment has been received.

Shipping:
Shipping season is from July 1 through the end of August; through the end of September for warmer zones.  We start the digging process approximately 2 months from when the first order was placed.  All orders will be processed in the order they were received.

You will get a confirmation email of your order and be notified either by email or phone call of your approximate delivery date.  If you will be on vacation or out of town, please e-mail us at info@iris4u.com.  It is very important and helpful that you include your order number in your e-mail and specify an alternative delivery date.  We will do our best to take this change into account.

Shipments will be made by USPS.  Please include your full street address and phone number.  Expedited deliveries will be billed separately at cost.

Shipping Costs:
Our shipping fee is applied to each order placed.  The costs are broken down into 4 categories:

1-5 plants = $9
6-12 plants = $14
13-20 plants = $19
21 plants and over = $19 + $0.75/ additional plant

Local customers:
We encourage ALL customers to ship for tracking purposes, but if you wish to pick up your order, you may omit the shipping and handling charge by selecting "customer pickup" during the online check-out process.

Please make sure you give us a good phone number and email address so we can contact you when your order is ready.

If we have not heard from you within 2 weeks once notifying that your order is ready to be picked up, or you do not come to the garden for whatever reason, there will be a 50% restocking charge for replanting which will be billed separately, your order will be considered non- refundable, and we will not be able to re-dig your order.

We want you to receive your iris as fresh as possible so be prompt and communicate with us if you cannot get in to pick up your order.

Substitutions:
The number of iris available during our season is limited.  If there is a variety that is sold out, or we don't have sufficient quantities due to growing conditions, substitutions will be made unless you, the customer, specify otherwise.
