For the past 30+ years, Iris4u Garden has grown hundreds of named iris varieties from a multitude of different hybridizers.  In 2021, the garden and online shop downsized to only now offer a select number of Tall Bearded VAN LIERE Iris creations.

It’s not for nothing that the botanical name Iris refers to the Goddess of the Rainbow.  With towering heights, these showy flowers with their assorted shapes and colors will fascinate and inspire you!  The color spectrum stretches from strong tones such as velvety claret, golden brown, burnt orange, violet, and royal blue to pastel colors such as creamy white, pink-rosé or buttery yellow.

When will my Iris bloom?
There are 3 main categories when Tall Bearded Iris start to flower: Early, Mid-season and Late.  Naturally, weather plays a big role - warm spring temperatures will mean an earlier start to the season.  A cooler spring then means a later start.  Below is a general rule of thumb on when to expect color in your garden.

Very Early: the beginning of May

Early: mid to end of May

Middle:  end of May to the beginning of June

Late:  mid to end of June
