Welcome to our garden. We invite you to browse through the many beautiful
irises in the catalog and to come out to
see the garden when they bloom. We have two special offers
for selections from our 2010 introductions. Check the
2010 introductions page for complete
descriptions. We only sell irises that we have tested and found to do well in the soils and climate of the Denver area or similar climatic zones. For each iris variety, we show the hybridizer that introduced the variety, awards earned by the iris, the year in which it was introduced, the approxriate height reported by the hybridizer for the variety grown where he/she lives, the price, the portion of the spring bloom season in which it generally flowers, and whether the flower has a fragrance. Irises that bloom a second time later in the season if the growing conditions are favorable are marked with the word reblooms. While we have made every effort possible to provide accurate information, mistakes can happen. We would appreciate your letting us know if you find any errors in the catalog. We reserve the right to correct any errors in prices that might appear in the catalog. The catalog can be accessed several ways. The primary listing is by the first letter of the iris name. The catalog is now indexed by color patterns and hues of the irises and by iris height. You can also search for iris that have won awards. bloom during the early, middle, or late part of the season, or irises that rebloom. The same iris will appear in multiple listings if it blooms in more than one time period. For those of you looking for irises from a particular year or period, we offer listings of historic irises, irises from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and our most recent varieties. We also offer a listing of space age irises, those with unusual extensions to the beard that turn up and flare out to some degree. You can also search for irises that have a notable fragrance or for iris varieites introduced by a specific hybridizer. You can check which irises are available without searching the catalog if you prefer. The most popular varieties of irises sell out before the end of the season. Please indicate whether you are willing to let us subsitute a similar variety for any that are not available when your order reaches us. We must have your check to hold an order. |

We have compiled a listing of the American Iris Society registration information for the 2009 irises which you can download as a PDF file. You will be able to download our 2009 catalog as a Portable Document Format (PDF) file after we have finalized the selections that will be available this season. The PDF version of the catalog can be viewed and printed with Adobe's free Acrobat Reader. This is a large file so it may take a while to open. We suggest you save it to your disk so you will not have to download it repeatedly. |
