We invite you to browse through the many beautiful irises in the catalog and to come out to see the garden when they bloom. We have two special offers for 2010 introductions with full information on them on the 2010 introductions page. For each iris variety, we show the hybridizer that introduced it, the year in which it was introduced, the approximate height reported by the hybridizer when it was registered, the portion of the spring bloom season in which it generally flowers, whether the flower has a fragrance and awards earned by the variety. Irises that bloom a second time later in the season if the growing conditions are favorable are marked with the word reblooms. We are located at 2700 West Amherst Avenue in southwest Denver, Colorado. For driving directions and a map, click here. We sell irises that we have tested and found to do well in the soils and climate of the Denver area or similar climatic zones which are drier and colder than other parts of the country. While we have made every effort possible to provide accurate information, mistakes can happen. We would appreciate your letting us know if you find any errors in the catalog. We reserve the right to correct any errors in prices that might appear in the catalog. Please indicate whether you are willing to let us subsitute a similar variety for any that are not available when your order reaches us. We accept credit cards when paying in person at the garden, but this service is not yet available for website orders. We must have your check to hold a web order. The catalog can be accessed several ways: by the first letter of the iris name, by color patterns and hues of the irises, by height, by bloom time including those that may bloom a second time during the year, and by date of introduction. We also offer a listing of space age irises, those with unusual extensions to the beard that turn up and flare out to some degree under the grouping by year. You can also find irises that have a notable fragrance and iris varieites that have won awards. If you are looking for irises introduced by a specific hybridizers, you can find them here too. |

As you browse the catalog, you can see an enlargement of each image just by
clicking on the picture of the iris (if your browser supports Javascript).
You do not need to close the new window that pops up each time. Just move
it to a location that suits you and the next image will appear in this window
each time you click on a new picture. The enlarged image will not be obscured
by the Sold Out indicator when the variety is no longer available.
We have compiled a listing of the American Iris Society registration information for the 2010 irises which you can download as a PDF file. You will be able to download our 2010 catalog as a Portable Document Format (PDF) as soon as we finish building it. The PDF version of the catalog can be viewed and printed with Adobe's free Acrobat Reader. This is a large file so it may take a while to open. We suggest you save it to your disk so you will not have to download it repeatedly. |
